The Hon. Sandra Husbands is woman with a passion for human development and enterprise success. She is passionate about governance and being able to build strong economic and social platforms which enable people to live their best life. Her life is dedicated to positioning the nations and peoples of the Caribbean to build properly functioning societies and economies that uplift their people and provide them with the opportunities to achieve their dreams.
Sandra Husbands is the Minister in the Ministry of Foreign Trade with responsibility for trade agreements. The portfolio includes advancing the trade opportunities in Caricom where possible for the CSME and wider across the globe. The Division of Foreign Trade has responsibility for protecting the interests of domestic enterprises and the broader economy in regional and multilateral fora.
Sandra holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Law and a Masters in International Trade Policy which prepares her to be able to lead and guide government trade policy to position and enable enterprises to secure trade in regional and international markets.

Mr. Anthony Ali spent most of his working life in Canada where he worked in the areas of Operations, Sales, Marketing, Customer Allegiance and Strategic Planning for a number of Fortune 500 companies in Canada and the United States in a variety of industries including manufacturing, distribution and technology. Before joining Goddard Enterprises Ltd in 2013 as Managing Director, he worked with SM Jaleel (SMJ) in Trinidad - the largest soft drink manufacturer in the English speaking Caribbean - where he served as General Manager from 2010 – 2013. At SMJ he was responsible for the operations and growing the business as well as the company's market share over the three years in all categories of their business.
Upon graduating from the University of Toronto in 1988 with a B.Sc. Honours Degree in Chemistry, Mr. Ali worked as a Research Chemist at National Silicates - a manufacturer of sodium silicates and silicates derivatives - and subsequently as their Business Development Manager. He also completed a Post Graduate Degree in Executive Marketing from the University of Western Ontario in 1992 and has completed several leadership and management programmes.
In 1993, he was selected from 6,000 employees from Abitibi-Price Inc. - a large manufacturer and seller of newsprint and groundwood specialties products to participate in a fellowship at McKinsey & Co. for two years where he worked on a number of projects - both financial and operational - for a variety of clients. During the fellowship, Mr. Ali focused on leadership and strategic engagement for the McKinsey clients.
After his fellowship, Mr. Ali went to work at Azerty Inc. the largest distributor in the US of IT consumables as Vice President of Logistics and Administration. During the four (4) years at Azerty, he was able to grow the company from $350 million to $1.2 billion before it was sold.
He later joined Thermo Fisher Scientific - the world's largest provider of scientific equipment - in 2005 as Global Director of Operations and Customer Allegiance where he remained for three years working with large pharmaceutical, automotive and manufacturing organisations. He then moved to Enerworks Inc. - a North American manufacturer of Solar Thermal systems - where he served as Global Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Customer Allegiance.
Mr. Ali has served on several Boards in the Energy field, is the co-author of several publications and has four patents pending. He has an interest in all types of sporting activities.

His Excellency Chad Blackman, is the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Barbados to the United Nations and Other International Organizations in Geneva; Barbados’ Ambassador to the United Nations at Vienna, and Barbados’ Ambassador to Austria; and to the Republic of Serbia.
Ambassador Blackman has worked in the international development sector for over fifteen years, and has engaged as an international trade law specialist and development consultant at the Commonwealth Secretariat respectively. Prior to his tenure in Geneva, he was Legal Consultant and Partner in a Caribbean Law Firm, where he led on issues international trade, shipping and data protection laws.
Ambassador Blackman is the former Chair for the Trade and Environment Committee and former Chair of the Trade and Development Committee, both in the WTO. He chairs the SIDS Group in the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), was the Americas Co-ordinator for the Government Group in the ILO, and is a UN International Gender Champion Global Board Member . He is also the Vice-President of the G77 & China Group in Geneva.
Ambassador Blackman, is a British trained international trade law specialist, and has read for both the LLB Law and LLM International Trade Law from the University of Essex in the UK, and is an Associate member of the London based, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators , and speaks English, French and Spanish.

Ronaele is a partner of the PwC East Caribbean firm based in Barbados. She is the Environmental Social and Governance Leader for the East Caribbean firm and the Tax and Legal Services Leader for the Caribbean Region. She is an Attorney-at-Law, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Canada and holds an LLM Masters in Corporate and Commercial Law with an emphasis on Corporate Governance.
She has extensive experience in the examination and implementation of international Corporate Governance best practice, having led teams in the provision of engagements for Board Assessments and Board training for Barbados and regional conglomerates. This has included in depth evaluation interviews for boards of directors of companies based in Barbados, Grenada, Trinidad and the Cayman Islands.
Ronaele has spent 21 years in corporate practice with respect to local companies, international business companies, societies with restricted liability, international financial institutions and exempt insurance companies including the provision of corporate advisory support in the maintenance, structuring and restructuring of multinational corporations.
She has acted for both local and international clients from inception, throughout the start-up period and into the life of the entity. She has a wealth of experience in incorporation, external registration, re-domiciliation and dissolution proceedings as well as in the sale, restructuring and amalgamation of local, regional and international entities. She often advises directors and shareholders on rights, duties, obligations and corporate legislation, practice and procedure.

Dave Dowrich is Chief Financial Officer, responsible for TIAA’s financial management and planning, actuarial, tax, accounting and financial reporting for the organization.
Prior to TIAA, Dave served as CFO, International Businesses at Prudential Financial, Inc. He was responsible for all financial aspects of Prudential’s non-U.S. businesses.
Previously, he was at American International Group (AIG) and served as interim CEO of International Life and Retirement; Chief Financial Actuary, CFO of AIG Japan and Asia Pacific; and CFO and Chief Financial Actuary of Institutional Markets. He has also held senior roles in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse, advising life, non-life and financial guaranty insurance clients. He has reinsurance and structuring experience from Swiss Re and Canada Life Reinsurance and began his career as a pension actuary at one of the predecessor companies of Willis Towers Watson.
Dave is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, Member of the American Academy of Actuaries and Associate of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries. He is on the board of The Entrepreneurial Network (TEN) Habitat and the Industry Advisory Council of the Business School at Medgar Evers College and previously served on several insurance and non-insurance operating and holding company boards.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science and Applied Statistics from the University of Toronto and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Tracy Highland is a Communication Specialist with over 20 years experience. Her niche is Social Media Strategy and Management. Through her company JILL Media, she provides support to SMEs, non- profit organisations and large corporations seeking to build their brands and online communities in the social media space.
Her career started in journalism, having worked at both Starcom Network and the Barbados Advocate. She then moved on to Public Relations, working as Assistant Director of Public Relations at a US University, and as a freelance publicist and writer on her move back to Barbados. In 2012 she founded her company JILL Media where she created a niche in Social Media Marketing. She has worked with a number of notable clients over the years including The Massy Group, Roberts Manufacturing, The Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. and Facey Commodities.
She has participated as a Social Media expert in a number of panels including the Caribbean Development Bank’s Resilience series in 2020 and she currently conducts social media training for Ten Habit, a regional organisation that supports entrepreneurs.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Media Communications and has taught in the Associate Degree - Mass Communication Programme at the Barbados Community College.

Ron and his team of brand specialists work with CEOs, marketing teams and HR Departments to help solve their brand-related business challenges. As Managing Director, Ron has advised clients in several industries, including energy, banking, insurance, convenience retailing, accounting and security. Tracy Marshall is an Assurance Partner with EY and brings over 16 years of experience serving clients in the retail, distribution, manufacturing and hotel sectors in Barbados and the OECS. She holds a BSc. degree in Accounting from the University of the West Indies and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
A Certified Learning Leader with the EY Caribbean practice, she utilizes her leadership and coaching skills to serve as a counselor and mentor for over 20 employees. Tracy, a practicing member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados since 2016 also serves as a Committee Member of the Accounting and Auditing Standards Committee. She also previously served as a member of the Nominations Committee of ICAB and is currently the Employer Advocate for the recently created Local Chapter of ACCA.
As it relates to her professional philosophy, she believes and practices the words of Maya Angelou, “Nothing will work unless you do!”
She currently serves as the chair of the EY Insider Newsletter Committee, a monthly internal publication showcasing news and focus stories impacting the practice and is also a Trustee of the EY Management Ltd. Pension Plan. Tracy finds balance for all her commitments via her love for yoga and fitness in which she engages at least 3-4 times per week.

Barbadian accounting professional and entrepreneur, David Simpson, was appointed as President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Caribbean (ICAC) in June 2021. Simpson replaced Khalil Alli from Guyana who served for the period 2019 to 2021. The handover occurred on the ICAC's 38th annual conference which was held virtually and successfully, for the first time on June 24th and 25th.
The ICAC consists of some 4,000 professionals across the Caribbean and is committed to upholding and promoting the fundamental values of accountancy profession - Truth and Fairness, Integrity, Justice and prosperity, which are embodied in its motto, Veritas et Virtus (Truth and Virtue).
For the 2021 to 2023 the ICAC will also be served by Andrea St. Rose (Eastern Caribbean) – Vice President; Gowon Bowe (Bahamas) – Treasurer; Sixto Coy (Jamaica) – Secretary and Directors Claude Burrell (Belize), Pramila Persaud (Guyana), Michael Lutchman (Suriname) and Denise Chinpire-O’Reilly (Trinidad and Tobago). Darshani Workman is Finance Manager of Deloitte and Touche Barbados and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Darshani was admitted to ICAB in 2008 and elected to Council in May 2017. She has served on the Continuing and Professional Development (CPD) Committee and the 2013 ICAC Conference Planning Committee. Darshani is a former Chairman and current member of the Communications Committee which she has served since 2014 as a writer and interviewer.
Darshani spent her early career in the nascent information technology industry in Guyana and then 11 years in Barbados in the luxury Real Estate & Hospitality related industries. Her focus was on accounting and taxation for International Business Companies, External Companies, Hotels and Property Owners Association.
Cognizant of her civic duties and importance of giving back, Darshani sits on the Audit and Finance Committee of Optimist International, is an Ambassador of ACCA and previously, a founding member of the Students' Services Council in Guyana while an ACCA student.

Anthony is a Director with PwC Trinidad with over 16 years professional services experience. Anthony is a Chartered Accountant, a Certified GIAC Penetration Tester, a Certified Information Systems Auditor, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional and has completed the SANS 560 Network Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking course where he won the ‘capture the flag’ challenge which simulated a penetration test of a financial institution. He specializes in delivering cyber security services and forensic technology services, and is a subject matter expert in vulnerability assessment, threat modeling and penetration testing. In addition to his cyber security experience Anthony has led several data analytics engagements
Anthony is also a regular conference speaker across the region on cyber security and related topics.

Tricia Watson has over 25 years' experience as a practising Attorney-at-Law. Tricia has substantial experience as in-house counsel at technology based companies, and honed her expertise as regulatory counsel over twenty years at Cable & Wireless and as a private practitioner providing regulatory advice and services to private sector clients and the Government of Barbados.
Tricia provides corporate, commercial, regulatory and compliance services to small, medium and large companies. She also provides professional services to the Government of Barbados. Tricia participated in the Government of Barbados' initial Telecommunications Working Group established in 1999 to design a national telecommunications policy and legislative framework to enable liberalisation of the sector, and had responsibility for preparing drafting instructions for the current Telecommunications Act and draft regulations. She has since sat on the Working Group to update the Telecommunications Act and associated legislation. Tricia's utility regulation expertise was also brought to bear as first ever Chair of the Barbados Light and Power advisory Committee (2015 - 2017). As a consultant, she has advised the Government of Barbados on legal and regulatory and policy matters related to the liberalisation and modernisation of the electricity sector.
In addition to her legal qualifications, Tricia holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Durham, Durham Business School and has trained extensively in telecommunications regulation, utility regulation, competition law, and international arbitration, legislative drafting, regulation and policy.
Tricia is a former moderator of Barbados' leading current affairs radio programme, Down to Brasstacks. She continues to moderate online public discussion and education fora.

John Edward (Ed) Clarke is Director of Strategic Projects for Sagicor Life Inc in Barbados. He retired from his position as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Barbados Operations for Sagicor Life Inc on 30th June 2020 after 13 years with Sagicor.
Mr. Clarke is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and is a Certified Internal Auditor with more than 45 years' experience in the field of auditing, accounting, financial services, and international business management. He began his accounting career at Pannell Fitzpatrick & Company Chartered Accountants in Barbados (now Ernst & Young) and he later joined Texaco and subsequently Chevron Inc and served as a senior Manager in its Finance team in Barbados, Nigeria and the USA.
Mr. Clarke is currently a Director of Sagicor General Insurance Inc, Sagicor Funds Incorporated, Sagicor Asset Management Inc, The Estates Group Holdings Limited, Barbados Farms Ltd, Chequerhall Investments Inc, Chequerhall PV Inc and Four Cross Inc. He is the Immediate past Chairman of the Barbados Private Sector Association and immediate past Co-Chair of the Barbados Economic Recovery and Transformation (BERT) Monitoring Committee. He attended The Lodge School, in the parish of his birth, St John, he is married to Jane and is the father of two young adults and stepfather of three. Ed became a grandfather in 2021.

Dr. Kevin Greenidge is the Senior Advisor to the Government of Barbados on leave from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), where he is a Senior Economist since 2011. Prior to that, he was Director of the Research and Economic Analysis Department at the Central Bank of Barbados where he spent 17 years.
Dr. Greenidge holds a B.Sc. in Economics with first class honours from the University of the West Indies, a Masters in Economics from the University of Cambridge in the UK, and a Ph.D. from the University of Nottingham, also in the UK. He also holds an associate degree in Business Management from Columbia University.
Dr. Greenidge has published extensively in the area of eco-nomics with over 200 publications in numerous journals, both regionally and internationally. His publications in-clude the measurement of financial liberalisation and the challenges of policy makers in small developing countries, issues of exchange rate misalignment in the Caribbean, cross country monetary effects, and growth and convergence in the Caribbean. His current research focus is on growth and debt dynamics in small island economies, the macroeconomic effects of governance and corruption, and on fiscal multipliers and growth.
Dr. Greenidge is also a member of the International Atlan-tic Economic Society, the Western Economic Association, and a Fellow of the Cambridge Commonwealth Society. He is also a referee for a number of journals.

Professor Robinson oversees the Office of the Board for Undergraduate Studies (OBUS). The OBUS is charged with responsibility for policy, quality and regionality in developing and coordinating policy initiatives to guide all aspects of undergraduate and sub-degree programming at The UWI and its regional and global affiliates.
Professor Robinson has served The UWI for 24 years and continues to have an illustrious career that spans teaching, programme coordination, research, university administration and public service.
He first joined the Cave Hill Campus as a Lecturer in the Department of Management Studies in 1997. In 2003, he was promoted to Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, serving in that capacity until 2007. Subsequently, he returned to teaching in Management as Senior Lecturer and then served as Head of the Department of Management for five years.
In 2012, he became Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and has held several other responsibilities at Cave Hill, including campus representative on the University Council and the Board for Undergraduate Studies.
He also served as a member of the task force, ‘Creation of an Entrepreneurial University’ in 2016, and a member of the task force for the establishment of a Faculty of Sport in 2017.
In 2020, Professor Robinson became the Head of the Department of Economics and Executive Director & CEO Ag. of the Sagicor Cave Hill School of Business and Management.
Professor Robinson has led the development of several BSc and MSc programmes, including the BSc and MSc Banking and Finance programmes and the BSc Management with concentrations in Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business
and Marketing. He has also served as supervisor to a total of 12 PhD and 15 MPhil students, to date.
Professor Robinson has been an invited presenter at prestigious conferences around the world, as far as Qatar.
His noteworthy portfolio of public service to national, regional, and international public and scholarly bodies spans positions such as Director of the Central Bank of Barbados, First Vice President of the Barbados Museum & Historical Society, Financial Advisor to the Barbados Co-operative Credit Union League, Financial Advisor to Windward Islands Farmers’ Association (WINFA), Chair of the Barbados National Insurance Scheme, Member of the Council of Economic Advisors, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Member of the ISSA Social Security Investments Expert Panel, and Member of the Oversight Committee on State-Owned Enterprises in Barbados.

A Certified Learning Leader with the EY Caribbean practice, she utilizes her leadership and coaching skills to serve as a counselor and mentor for over 20 employees. Tracy, a practicing member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados since 2016 also serves as a Committee Member of the Accounting and Auditing Standards Committee. She also previously served as a member of the Nominations Committee of ICAB and is currently the Employer Advocate for the recently created Local Chapter of ACCA.
As it relates to her professional philosophy, she believes and practices the words of Maya Angelou, “Nothing will work unless you do!”
She currently serves as the chair of the EY Insider Newsletter Committee, a monthly internal publication showcasing news and focus stories impacting the practice and is also a Trustee of the EY Management Ltd. Pension Plan. Tracy finds balance for all her commitments via her love for yoga and fitness in which she engages at least 3-4 times per week.

Alison Browne-Ellis is an experienced Corporate Executive with over 23 years of expertise. In her capacity, she leads a dynamic team and sets strategy for Cave Shepherd Card (Barbados) Inc. Alison has successfully led her company to acquire the status of the first Non-Financial Institution in the English-speaking Latin American Caribbean region to obtain a Principal Membership license with Visa International.
Prior to her current role as CEO, Alison spent 13 years at FirstCaribbean International Bank. She has a proven track record in leading change initiatives with expertise in implementation of innovative products, business development, marketing and customer experience strategies.
Alison holds an Executive Diploma from the Ivey Business School, Western University and a MBA with Distinction, from the University of Surrey. Alison is also a Certified John Maxwell Team Coach and an Affiliate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketers. She is currently a Council Member of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry where she also Chairs the Marketing & Communications Committee.
Despite starting from humble beginnings, Alison has managed to successfully build her career and a strong personal brand. Today Alison juggles many hats, while maneuvering the rigors of the corporate world. As a mother, wife, daughter, council member and professional mentor to many, Alison is passionate about the professional development of our future leaders which has led to the recent launch of her new book.
Her book "LIFE LESSONS A Purpose Driven Leadership Journey" is a testament that it really does not matter where you start and to what is possible when dreams and aspirations are married with self-belief, hard work, determination, consistency and a strong faith in God.

Nikita Gibson is the Vice President of Clarity Life Insurance Ltd. and a Partner at Castalia Consulting Inc, companies registered in Barbados. Her experience ranges in the financial and insurance industries where she manages the expectations of shareholders, directors and clients.
Nikita has a Bachelor of Science, First Class Honours in Mathematics and Economics from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus and a Master of Science in Actuarial Science from Heriot Watt University. She is an Associate Actuary with the Society of Actuaries and the Caribbean Actuarial Association.
In her role at Clarity Life, Nikita develops bespoke life insurance solutions for high-net worth individuals across the globe for purposes such as generational wealth transfer and asset protection. In her role at Castalia and as a risk management professional, she proactively explores new industry developments and impacts, facilitating innovative responses to assist clients in quantitative risk management solutions. Nikita has facilitated various training sessions across the region and has been asked to present in areas of financial health, wealth and investments for a range of individuals, businesses and associations.
